Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives & Operations

The Sr Director of Strategic Initiatives & Operations is a strategic and analytical leader who oversees and implements key programs, projects, and initiatives for the Office of Undergraduate Education (OUE) and on behalf of the Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education (VPUE). The Sr Director works in close consultation with the leadership of OUE and and supervises and provides oversight for areas that include administrative operations; communication, marketing and events; development; data and assessment; and strategic planning. The Sr Director also supports staff development; coordinates various advisory boards for the VPUE; and collaborates in the development of new undergraduate academic programs and initiatives within OUE. Finally, the Sr Director serves as a key aide to the VPUE performing special assignments and projects as requested.

Executive Director of Academic Advising & Success

Georgia Tech seeks an experienced, innovative, and student-centered executive director of academic success and advising (ED-ASA). The position reports directly to the vice provost for undergraduate education (VPUE); serves as a member of the Office of Undergraduate Education (OUE) senior leadership team, and will be charged with establishing a comprehensive vision for academic success that aligns with Georgia Tech’s new strategic plan, aligns with University System of Georgia (USG) initiatives, and supports institutional goals for retention and completion. The position provides strategic leadership for programs, services, and operations that impact academic success, including undergraduate advising; academic coaching and transition; tutoring and academic support; student success workshops and outreach; “at risk” and “off course” student interventions and courses; pre-health and pre-professional advising; prestigious fellowships advising; first-generation and limited income student programs; and related areas. The ED-ASA will play a critical role in ensuring that all students are supported academically throughout their undergraduate experience, from orientation to graduation.
