Learning Communities
Learning Communities (Instagram) are an integrated experience that promotes interactions between faculty and students, fosters collaboration among students, enhances campus and civic engagement, and eases both the academic and social transition to college.
Student Innovation
Student Innovation (Instagram) plans, manages and coordinates student innovation programs and competitions. Their focus is on growing the innovation ecosystem at Georgia Tech and connecting it to the wider startup community.
Co-ops
For over 100 years, both students at Georgia Tech and employers from business, industry, and government have formed co-op partnerships to help develop the best-educated engineers, scientists, and managers. Co-op is the link between the classroom and the workplace. Knowledge is gained and transferred between students and employers in alternating semesters of school and work, typically with the same employer.
Internships
Internships provide opportunities for students to gain experience in their field, determine if they have an interest in a particular career, and create a network of contacts. An internship may be either paid, unpaid or partially paid (in the form of a stipend).
