SAB Mission

The mission of the Student Advisory Board is to contribute diverse ideas and perspectives on matters that impact the undergraduate academic experience. The board fulfills this mission by: providing suggestions and input on current or future programs, services, policies, and other academic initiatives; advising on a range of academic issues that are important to undergraduate students; facilitating dialog and communication between undergraduates and the Vice Provost’s office Advocating for resources; and supporting the advancement of student ideas and interest.

"With the composition of the Student Advisory Board changing each year and pulling its membership from leaders all across campus, the topics discussed and direction we head are completely up to the board. My goal as chair of the SAB is to embrace our collective voice and get exposure to as many institute decision makers as possible so that the student opinion is heard and considered. I would like the SAB to be an open forum of sorts where admin can gather information or pilot a new idea from a representative sample of the student body. Georgia Tech has always done a great job of putting its students first, and I hope the SAB can help continue these traditions of excellence with the work that we do."
